National Contact Center of Kazakhstan and EcoJer
On August 19 there was an online meetin.organized by the Secretariat of the National Contact Center of Kazakhstan JSC "Institute for Economic Research" with representatives of the association of legal entities "Kazakhstan Association of Regional Environmental Initiatives "EcoJer"
Representatives of the Secretariat described the activities and functioning of Kazakhstan's NCC and explained the provisions of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
The parties discussed further joint cooperation between NCC and the Association and ways to develop it. The parties also noted mutual interest in a repeat meeting.
Joint cooperation on environmental issues between NCC and EcoJer will allow discussing real problems and ways to eliminate them, finding mutual solutions and preparing proposals for the Government of Kazakhstan.
The National Contact Point (NCP) is a collegial advisory body that makes decisions on appeals concerning violations of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, including information disclosure, human rights, labor and industrial relations, combating bribery, bribery and extortion, environmental protection, consumer interests, science and technology, competition and taxation.
Kazakhstan Association of Regional Environmental Initiatives «EcoJer» - an association whose activities are aimed at preserving the environment while ensuring technological progress.
